Happenings

Sometimes we just want to get together! In addition to our formal events, we offer drop-in, casual Happenings. Sometime these may be ACL events and other times it may be an event we are sponsoring or affiliated with. We cluster these into three categories:

Meetups

This is an opportunity to meet other people in your community who are interested in the things you are interested in. We "meet-up" at places like Farmers' Market, the theater, or just for coffee.

Popups

Our community is more accessible to us when we know more about it. The ACL "pops-up" at places to educate you about issues, inform you about resources, or be a liaison to community opportunities.

Community Events

Our community is vibrant and is learning to open its doors to all community members. The ACL often sponsors or consults on events to help remove barriers for people with IDD.
