The Boulder Police Department in collaboration with the ACL presents a free Safety First one-day event for teens with intellectual/developmental disabilities. 

This year's Safety First for teens is a free one-time event taught by Boulder Police Officers.


Agenda

4:00pm - Social Boundaries, Personal Space, Stay Alert  - Presented by Boulder PD and Wholehearted Warriors Self Defense

5:00pm -  Getting Around Safely, Instructional Bus Ride -  Presented by RTD and Via

Safety First for Teens offers small group activities, some classroom-style lecture, and lots of positive interactions with police.Class time is 4pm to 6pm. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early as the group must be escorted together to the meeting room. Registration is required. You must attend the entire 2 hour event.
